Grades 3-5 bring in your recorders from home ! If you need to order a new recorder they are $8.00. You may pay by cash or check. Please make checks payable to "Darien Instrumental Program."

Music at Holmes

Miss Lindroth: Welcome to the music blog for Holmes School. This blog will provide a great community for those in the music program to stay informed and in touch about all the goings on throughout the year. I teach elementary music because I believe it is important to develop music skills beginning in early childhood and to continue and refine those skills throughout development. Music is about listening, literacy, performance,commitment, and the simple joy innate in music. My goal is for students to leave Holmes school with a love of music and a confidence that they can all grow to be musicians.
